Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl underwood is an American actress who is also a comedian, host and TV actress famous for her part in The Talk's daytime co-host role. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her sister Frankie who was afflicted by polio. She faced a lot of difficulties with her mother growing up. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father for becoming too close to her. Sheryl entered the military following her graduation from college. Her interest in comedy became stronger. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career in 1992 after she was a regular performer on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she hosted the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating on The Talk as co-host. Furthermore, she's played fictional roles in series like Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
