Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress gained fame in the final decade of 1970 and in the early the 1980s by playing recurring roles in numerous television shows where she typically portrayed her glamorous appearance. Fairchild was first noticed in The CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. Then, in 1978, she was on the primetime soap opera Dallas as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). In 1984 she starred as a co-star in ABC's brief premiertime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 until 1986 She played lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild has also been seen in theatre, as well as in guest roles on television shows, including Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. The actress was considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her part in this program. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
