Her performance in the telenovela was awarded the Best Actress Award at the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards in 2001. Next year, Emilio Larrosa's Mexican Telenovela Las Vias del Amor was made by Televisa. Also, she sang the music for the show. Aracely paused her big-screen career in 2008 in order to present the TV program Todo Bebe venture into the theater. Aracely started her career as a singer of nursery rhymes in the honor of Mexican composer for children's music Francisco Gabilondo Soler, also called Cri Cri. In 2003 Aracely's album Solo Tuya made her a three-time finalist at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. In 2005, she released Sexy with the help of A.B. Quintanilla. She composed two soundtracks, including Juntos tu y yo 'and La Patrona. Aracely teased a new album coming out in 2014 but she is yet to announce it.
