Zoe Saldana's parents, Asalia and Aridio Saldana, were born the 19th of June 1977 in Passaic New Jersey. Both her parents have both been Puerto Ricans. Her family was from Queens, New York. The family she was born into relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd be for seven years. Zoe was able to establish a love for performance dance during her time in the Dominican Republic.
